Rupee gains, opens at 65.17 per dollar ,-- 20 Aug 2015

The USD-INR pair is expected to trade today in a range of 64.90-65.20/dollar, says Mohan Shenoi of Kotak Mahindra Bank.

                             

The Indian rupee gained in the early trade on Thursday. It has opened higher by 10 paise at 65.17 per dollar against previous close of 65.27."Stability of Yuan at lower levels after a bout of near 5 percent depreciation has helped Asian currencies and rupee to stem further depreciation against dollar. The USD-INR pair is expected to trade today in a range of 64.90-65.20/dollar,"
