The benchmark BSE Sensex closed 26.57 points up at 25,868.49. Sentiments were supported by continued gains in Asian shares as investors bet the US Federal Reserve would raise rates in December but proceed cautiously with any further tightening. Nifty closed 13.80 points up at 7,856.55.
