The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty opened in green on Wednesday. Sensex opened 69.98 points up at 26,239.39, while Nifty opened 21.80 points up at 7,976.70.
The 30-share index was trading at 26,202, up 33 points or 0.13 per cent. It touched a high of 26,256.42 and a low of 26,200.84 in morning trade.
The Nifty50 was at 7,965, up 10 points or 0.13 per cent. It touched a high of 7,979.30 and a low of 7,959.05 in the first 30 minutes of trade.
The S&P BSE Midcap Index was up 0.26 per cent and BSE S&P Smallcap Index was trading 0.35 per cent higher.
